Hemophilia Clinical Studies-Challenges
Max Neeman is conducting hightest number of studies in Haemophilia in India
As per the current study experience we have following challenges to find way outs for a successful study
1. Lack of awareness among the subjects about clinical trials
2. Factors affordability is low and post study subject has to revert to blood product than a superior therapy
3. Inhibitor development as a consequence of Factor therapy and which requires very high cost to manage the disease throughout the life (no insurance coverage for this)
4.Pathology labs to quantify Clotting factor are not standardised
